Day 8 - Leh & McLeod Ganj (Dharamsala) 10th Aug 12

Nice alfresco breakfast in the garden of Hotel Tso-kar
We spent 4 nights in this hotel. The location of this hotel is fantastic, but importantly, the owner and staffs are very helpful. Our best driver (in our trip) was from this hotel. The owner even sent us off to the airport to make sure that we did not miss our flight. Excellent service!

Flight from Leh to New Delhi

Goodbye beautiful Leh.
I will be back (hopefully).

View of Barren Terrain

Majestic mountains

More mountains

Beautiful!!!

=)

The Kingfisher flight from Delhi to Dharamsala was quite empty.
(They canceled the flight the day before, I guess we are just lucky)

On our way from Dharamsala Airport to McLeod Ganj.
Happiness (because we are back to lower land)

At around 2000m, the hills were green, what a different sight from what we saw a few hours ago.

Street view.

We were joking that we were finally in India. For the past 1 week, we had been in Ladakh region which felt more like Tibet in terms of the landscape and culture.

Street of McLeod Ganj.

I like the quietness of the evening. I was really happy to be here. The weather was cooling, strolling on the street was enjoyable and there was good food.

One of the interesting eateries.
